Personally, the story of this bird was my favourite part of my holiday in Spain. Well basically... I heard a rustle in a bush in the front garden of the villa I was staying in... I got a shock when I almost stepped on a House Martin Fledgling which had supposedly fallen out of the nest below my roof. It was flapping its wings and trying to fly but it could not take off, maybe this is because house martins cannot take off from the ground... Anyway, this House Martin looked as it had a deformed foot so that way have been a reason. To help it I gave it several dead flies and some water. It may have survived or sadly it may have been eaten by a cat but I don't know.
