Mudskippers are amphibious fish and are thought to be proof of early evolution (how fish became amphibians) This particular mudskipper is a barred mudskipper (Periophthalmus argentilineatus) and is the most widespread in the world. They are very territorial and aggressive fish, I saw many of these mudskippers "skipping" over mud in river estuaries near the sea.
