Personally I love grey-backed shrikes. This one was in a bush on the Golf course. You may not of heard of them though.
I'm sorry about the bad quality of this photo. Anyway this is a Cattle Egret by the side of a lake on the golf course. It was on the opposite side of the lake from me.
I am not 100 hundred per cent sure what dragonfly this is because it may be a slightly different species to the English type.
This is a Swallow Nest at a half way point on the golf course. Funnily enough it was just above the doorway as you walked into the toilettes.
Personally, the story of this bird was my favourite part of my holiday in Spain. Well basically... I heard a rustle in a bush in the front garden of the villa I was staying in... I got a shock when I almost stepped on a House Martin Fledgling which had supposedly fallen out of the nest below my roof. It was flapping its wings and trying to fly but it could not take off, maybe this is because house martins cannot take off from the ground... Anyway, this House Martin looked as it had a deformed foot so that way have been a reason. To help it I gave it several dead flies and some water. It may have survived or sadly it may have been eaten by a cat but I don't know.
And now for... The Viperine Snake!!! This snake was underwater in the gold course river. Viperine Snakes spend a lot of their time in water but they do live on land.
I am not being unprofessional not telling people what Lizard this is, I'm just interested if anyone can guess it. Its called "guess the Lizard".
Here are a pair of house Martin Nestlings in their nest. The nest is below the roof of my villa in Spain. They are quite adorable to watch.
I visited spain to go to a golf course named desert springs but I was fascinated by the wildlife there. I left to go to spain on the 13th of July. On my third night I found a Kestrel Roosting on a lamp in an archway at a third apartment floor.
